Packing Tips
- Be sure to put half of each person’s clothing in separate suitcases in case your luggage is delayed or lost. This will ensure that each of you has something to wear until your luggage catches up with you.
- Pack a change of clothes for a 72-hour period in your carry-on bag in the unlikely event that your luggage is delayed.
- You may wish to weigh your luggage prior to departing for the airport to ensure that it is not over the weight allowance set by your airline.

For your flight from Cape Town to Kruger National Park’s Game Lodges, you will fly via private charter.
- Prior to flying to Kruger National Park, your suitcases – filled with the clothing you wore in Cape Town and any items not needed at the game camp – will be collected and transferred to Johannesburg for storage.
- This stored luggage will be waiting for you at the InterContinental Hotel when you arrive in Johannesburg prior to your return flight home.

Kruger National Park Luggage Restrictions: Each guest will be given a soft-sided safari bag for the charter flight from Cape Town to Kruger National Park Game Reserve Lodges, compliments of Konica Minolta.
- When fully packed, the safari bag must weigh less than 44 pounds.
- In addition to the safari bag each guest is permitted one carry-on bag. Maximum dimensions for one piece are as follows: 22”x 13” x 9” and should not exceed the overall dimensions of 45” or a total of 17 pounds.
- This policy is strictly enforced, and it is important for you to pack only what is listed below. Oversize and overweight luggage can affect the entire group if the flight is grounded due to exceeding the maximum weight limit allowed.
- Laundry service at the Game Lodges is a personal expense.
Safari Packing Checklist:
- 1-2 pairs of shorts
- 2-3 pairs of slacks/stretch pants/cotton-blend trouser or athletic pants
- 1 pair of jeans
- 2-3 t-shirts or polo-style shirts
- 2 blouses/cotton button downs/ linen shirts
- 1 puffy jacket, fleece or light coat
- 1 pair of tennis shoes/sneakers/hiking boots (comfortable closed-toe shoes)
- 1 pair of alternate casual shoes
- 1 swimsuit and cover-up
- Sleepwear
- Casual, non-valuable jewelry worn or packed within carry-on luggage
- Hat (or) visor/sunglasses
- Toiletries (over-the-counter medicines if you are susceptible to motion sickness or upset stomach)
- Electronic adaptor (Type N) / electronic charging cords
Provided at Each Lodge:
- Hair dryer
- Insect repellant
- Ponchos and umbrellas in the event of rain
- In-Room Safe
- Binoculars, sunscreen and hand-sanitizer in each safari vehicle

Required Travel Documents
All travelers, including U.S. citizens, must have a passport valid at least 6 months beyond your planned return home with two blank passport page(s) for entry stamp.
Non-U.S. citizens are responsible for securing the required travel documents for the trip. Note: Applying for and renewing passports is currently taking significantly longer than usual. Current passport processing is time is 8-11 weeks, so please check your passport expiration date and, if needed, apply or renew as soon as possible.
Airline Arrangements
We must have your completed registration no later than Tuesday, November 29, 2022, to finalize your airline arrangements for you and your guest.
Program Inclusions
Konica Minolta has arranged for airfare, hotel accommodations, designated meals and activities, luggage handling, transfers and taxes connected with events specified in your agenda.

Both One&Only Cape Town and the Kruger National Park Game Lodges accept American Express, Mastercard and Visa for personal expenses, which include phone calls, meals and activities not included in your itinerary, laundry/pressing services and personal bar bills.
