
Hayden Lindsey
Vice President, WW Engineering and Architecture, Mainframe Division
Hayden Lindsey is the Vice President responsible for Worldwide Software Engineering and Architecture for Broadcom’s Mainframe division. In this role, Hayden leads development of all mainframe products developed in the Broadcom labs around the world.
Hayden leads teams that employ iterative and agile development techniques and methodologies. The solutions these teams develop help enterprises build, operate, automate, optimize, and secure their current and next-generation systems to enable digital transformation.
Over his career of three decades in the software industry, Hayden has held a variety of positions. Most recently, he was SVP for Worldwide Engineering & Architecture at CA Technologies. Prior to that, he was VP and Distinguished Engineer of DevOps for Enterprise Systems and Compilers at IBM. He has led teams for many different tools and platforms and has been an offering manager, product architect, and software developer.
A forward-thinking technologist and holder of fourteen patents, Hayden was an early adopter of object technology and applied the approach effectively in the areas of code generation, debugging, IDEs, and performance. Hayden is also an accomplished public speaker, demonstrating a deep passion for and understanding of business and technology. He consistently paints a clear vision for Broadcom that motivates and inspires.

George DeCandio
Chief Technology Officer, Mainframe Division
George recently joined Broadcom as the Chief Technology Officer for the Mainframe division. He is responsible for the team of architects that leads product development across the entire Mainframe portfolio. Described by colleagues as a “game changer” who transforms ideas and technologies into industry-leading products, George has expertise in a wide range of areas, including software development, technical leadership, team management, planning, product management, development, and customer support.
Prior to joining Broadcom, George worked at IBM for 25+ years and attained the level of Distinguished Engineer. While at IBM George served in many roles including developer, architect, development manager, and executive. George has focused his entire career on application development tools and processes. Over the last two decades he has been responsible for leading the app dev tools teams that created the Rational ALM tool suite, including Eclipse IDEs, DOORS Next Generation, Rational Asset Manager, and large configuration management systems.
George is an alumnus of the Rochester Institute of Technology

Jeff Henry
Vice President, Strategy, Design and Product Management, Mainframe Division
Jeff Henry is Vice President of Strategy, Design and Product Management for Broadcom’s Mainframe business unit. In this role, Jeff drives innovation across a diverse portfolio of mainframe software solutions that include DevOps, machine learning, AI, and security and compliance
Jeff joined Broadcom through the CA Technologies acquisition. At CA, he was responsible for the Intelligent Operations and Automation portfolio, including the acclaimed Mainframe Operational Intelligence and Dynamic Capacity Intelligence products.
Prior to his time at CA, Jeff was an executive at IBM where he led efforts to advance IBM Design Thinking, define and systematize cross-brand solutions, and develop the Offering Management discipline. He held positions in product management, engineering, strategy, and market management.
With over 30 years of experience leading software organizations, Jeff’s forte is connecting strategy to execution: analyzing a wide range of opportunities, narrowing the field to the best few, translating ideas to goals and plans, and inspiring cross-functional teams to successfully deliver to the market.
Throughout his career, Jeff has specialized in business services delivery, cloud deployments, and bringing Systems of Engagement together with Systems of Record for enterprise customers. At Broadcom, Jeff uses this expertise to deliver capabilities that help organizations integrate their mainframes across cloud and distributed environments.

Vikas Sinha
Vice President, Global Customer Experience and Strategic Alliances, Mainframe Division
Vikas Sinha is Vice President of Global Customer Experience and Strategic Alliances for Broadcom’s Mainframe business unit. His mission is to help Broadcom Mainframe customers succeed and realize maximum value from their Mainframe investments. To this end, Vikas oversees all the field technical resources that directly serve customers and partners, including presales, professional services, support, engineering services, competitive conversions, education and training, and strategic alliances. With these functions aligned in a single organization under Vikas’s leadership, Broadcom partners with customers throughout their mainframe journeys.
Vikas joined Broadcom through the CA Technologies acquisition. At CA, he led offering management for machine learning, operational intelligence, and enterprise data security for the mainframe portfolio. He also led software engineering for database management systems and security. Prior to Broadcom/CA Technologies, Vikas spent a number of years at IBM and SPSS, leading R&D for their predictive analytics portfolio.
A passionate supporter of lifelong learning, Vikas recently earned a Master’s degree in Predictive Analytics and a Certificate for Advanced Graduate Studies in Data Sciences from Northwestern University. He also has Engineering degrees from Sri Venkateswara University in India and Florida Atlantic University, as well as executive management education from Kellogg School of Management. He has over two dozen publications in international conferences and journals in the fields of engineering design and expert systems.

Jean-Louis Vignaud
Director, Product Management, Mainframe Division
Jean-Louis Vignaud is the Director of Mainframe Product Management for the DevOps and Open Mainframe initiative at Broadcom. He has been in product management roles for more than fifteen years, and offers a wealth of expertise in product strategy, DevOps, application lifecycle management, and software configuration management. He is also involved in the open source project Zowe and serves as a member of the Zowe Leadership Council (Zowe.org).
Jean-Louis is passionate about leveraging modern technology and design thinking to open the mainframe to a new generation of users. To that end, he has been heavily engaged with the launch of Zowe, the first open source project on zOS, as well as the launch of Che4z, the first Kubernetes-native IDE for mainframe. Additionally, he played an important role in the release of Broadcom’s Brightside, which was named the “Most Innovative DevOps Solution of the Year” in 2018 by DevOps.com.
Jean-Louis is a thought leader in the field of mainframe, with articles published in leading industry sources such as DevOps.com, DevOps Digest, and the Enterprise Tech Journal.

Joe Doria
Chief Marketing Officer, Mainframe Division
Joe Doria is Chief Marketing Officer of the Mainframe division at Broadcom and a member of Broadcom’s leadership team. His unparalleled expertise in product management and product marketing is the fruit of over two decades in the technology industry focusing on mainframe and enterprise IT.
Prior to joining Broadcom, Joe served as an executive within IBM for eighteen years. While at IBM, he oversaw marketing for the revolutionary ThinkPad product. He then moved on to become head of IBM z Systems Marketing where he developed and directed the global launches of six generations of the mainframe: z10 through z15.
Joe’s mainframe and enterprise IT marketing success is the outcome of his commitment to both the art and the science of marketing. He is highly skilled at leveraging the tremendous amounts of data now available to inform marketing strategies and plans, while simultaneously encouraging collaboration and creativity to bring power to brand messages and optimize client engagement.
As an industry speaker, Joe motivates decision makers to use technology to drive value and impact in their businesses. Stuart McIrvine
Director, Product Management, Mainframe Division
Stuart McIrvine is Director of Product Management for the Mainframe Security and Intelligent Operations portfolios. In this role Stuart leads the development of strategies that ensure each product maintains a competitive advantage and meets the requirements of Broadcom customers.
Previously, Stuart spent 5 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) leading product management in both the Security and IT Operations Management business units.
Before joining Broadcom, Stuart led product management in the Security and IT Operations Management business units at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and served as the Director of Market Management for the Emerging Markets division within Tivoli Software. Stuart also spent a decade at IBM in key leadership positions, including acting as the Director of Corporate Security Strategy. While at IBM, he was responsible for overseeing offering plans, M&A activities, and key partnerships as well as aligning the various IBM business units around a common strategy. He also led the development of IBM's overall portfolio strategy for cloud computing.
Stuart McIrvine has an undergraduate degree in Electronic Systems and Microcomputer Engineering from the University of Glasgow (UK) and an MBA from the University of Southampton (UK).

Greg Lotko
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mainframe Division
Greg Lotko is SVP and General Manager for Broadcom’s Mainframe business unit. Currently, Greg is responsible for all facets of the Mainframe division, including strategy, product management, engineering, services, support, and marketing. A passionate leader, Greg’s customer-first approach has helped countless organizations drive business and technical success resulting in lasting customer relationships. Under his leadership, the division helps the world’s top companies operate, automate, secure, and modernize the mainframe systems that run their businesses.
Known for driving growth and innovation, Greg was selected to lead the strategic Mainframe division when Broadcom acquired CA Technologies in 2018. At CA, Greg was General Manager for Mainframe and, prior to that, SVP of Software Engineering. Before joining CA, Greg spent 29 years with IBM. He was the Business Line Executive for IBM’s Mainframe business, including strategy, architecture, operations, and overall financial performance. In addition, he held senior leadership roles across server, storage, software, services, and information technology. Greg was also a member of the CEO’s Growth and Transformation team responsible for reinventing IBM.
A technologist at heart, Greg received his Computer Science degree from Clarkson University where he serves on the Dean of Arts and Science Advisory Council. Greg is a car enthusiast and compares car racing to IT. Taking advantage of the available power with discipline and control is crucial. Sujay Solomon
Chief Z DevOps Advocate, Mainframe Division
Sujay Solomon is the Chief Z DevOps Advocate for Broadcom’s Mainframe Division. He is a recognized industry evangelist of open source and DevOps on the mainframe. He was nominated for the DevOps.com 2019 DevOps Evangelist by Broadcom and is an award-winning speaker at popular IT conferences such as SHARE, IDUG, DevOps Enterprise Summit (DOES), IBM Think, and more. Sujay was the founding product manager for the popular open-source based mainframe devops tool, CA Brightside, which won the DevOps.com 2018 “Most Innovative DevOps Solution of the Year”.
As a passionate and insightful leader, Sujay comes to the mainframe with the attitude that nothing is impossible. He enables teams to deliver innovative, boundary-pushing innovations that bring positive disruption to markets. He is skilled at engaging some of the largest (Fortune 500) B2B clients to help them get past current roadblocks and embrace a better future by adopting paradigm-shifting products.
Sujay is a key member of the Linux Foundation’s Open Mainframe Project and Zowe. His goal is simple: make the mainframe accessible as "just another platform" without diluting its key strengths of scalability, availability, and security that have made mainframe applications vital for much of the world.

Deborah Carbo
Director, Product Management, Mainframe Division
Deborah Carbo is Director of Product Management in the Mainframe Division at Broadcom, responsible for the transformation and modernization of information technology solutions that enable business success. Her team focuses on developing the strategy and design of mission-critical mainframe offerings. These include CA databases, workload automation, capacity planning systems and storage management, along with a host of application development products. In addition to overseeing the mainframe product portfolio, she leads a mainframe talent program that delivers critical mainframe skills to the workforce.
Deb is a proven business and technical leader in mainframe technology, with expertise that includes infrastructure operations and service delivery. Over the course of her 20+ years’ experience in mainframe, she has held several leadership positions in software and hardware development organizations and successfully supported large complex enterprises within the financial services, healthcare, and government sectors. While working with the IBM System Z operating systems, she led the development of high-volume transactional platforms, database management systems, and microprocessor design. She consistently drives higher levels of engagement and satisfaction in her employees and her clients.

Nicole Fagen
Director, Product Management, Mainframe Division
Nicole Fagen leads Product Management and Strategy for IT Operations, Automation, and Database Solutions at Broadcom. She continuously operates with a "can do" growth mindset, leading people to collaborate effectively to drive innovation. At Broadcom, she empowers 30+ scrum teams to excel in developing industry-leading solutions. She is passionate about partnering directly with customers to ensure their needs are fully understood and their expectations are exceeded.
Over the course of her 20 years of mainframe experience, Nicole has been dedicated to enabling customer success by providing world-class enterprise software solutions that simplify infrastructure management and achieve 99.999 or higher availability. To that end, she led the creation of and continues to nurture a robust 360-degree customer engagement program. The program spans design thinking, sprint reviews, testing opportunities, and on-premise validations and guarantees that solutions are designed to be continuously available, resilient, scalable, automated, easy-to-manage and user-friendly. In this way, customers are able to maximize their mainframe investments.

Monique Boucher
Director, Business Management and Process, Mainframe Division
Monique Boucher is Director, Business Management & Process for the Mainframe division at Broadcom. In this role, Monique drives creation of the Mainframe division operating plan and oversees the management system and processes necessary to ensure the division is achieving its performance and operational goals.
Monique joined Broadcom through the CA Technologies acquisition. While at CA, she held operational roles for the Mainframe Business Unit as well as Enterprise Systems. In her three decades in the software industry, Monique has served in a variety of leadership positions in Software Development and Support, Product Management and Strategy, and Business Operations and Program Management.
Drawing upon the experience and expertise provided by her diverse background, Monique is able to effectively manage change across organizations to drive business. Her skills played a vital role in the led the initial Mainframe Agile Transformation which focused on developing partnerships with customers to drive more value into products and improve time to value. Her current focus is around business management and agility in the organization.

David Stokes
Senior Director, Engineering, Mainframe Division
David Stokes is Senior Director of Engineering for the Mainframe division at Broadcom. David leads R&D for the Core Products Portfolio with focus on developing Broadcom’s mission-critical mainframe offerings. These include CA databases, systems management, workload automation, storage and application development products. Additionally, David is a member of Broadcom’s leadership team and has responsibility for licensing initiatives.
With more than 20 years’ experience in enterprise software and sales, David has a broad and deep understanding of the mainframe market and ecosystem. He comprehends how products work in real-world environments and how they interact with other technologies. Because of his knowledge and expertise, he has built durable relationships with customers and is a regular speaker at conferences such as SHARE and IDUG. He is also a board member of the Open Mainframe Project and of IDUG.
David is skilled at leading large-scale transformation efforts through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. He is committed to the mainframe as the single greatest compute platform that has ever existed and actively works to promote innovation in the mainframe space.

Idival Amaro
Director, Mainframe Strategic Alliances
Idival Amaro is the Director of Mainframe Customer Relationships & Strategic Alliances at Broadcom. His responsibilities include managing technical and business development teams to maximize the return on Broadcom Mainframe investments, strategic alliances with mainframe partners worldwide, and evaluating customer intelligence data.
Idival has worked at Broadcom for over two decades in a variety of executive roles, including leading Technical Sales, Solution Sales, and Business Development. He has specialized in overseeing governmental and financial sales teams that leverage state-of-the-art technology to reach the target market and engage effectively with prospects.
Within the product development arena, Idival pioneered the concept and creation of Broadcom’s groundbreaking Mainframe Resource Intelligence solution.
